- Lack of sleep
- Stress
- Diet
- Menstruation
- Infections and Illness
- Changes in temperature
- Changes in sleep pattern
- Recreational drugs
- Missed medication
- Drinking alcohol
- Starvation or dehydration
- Medications
- Flashing or strobe lights
- Hormones
- Caffeine
- Cigarettes
