New online forum helps users of EpiTrax and others with epilepsy keep track of their seizures
Los Angeles – May 23, 2007 – NeoMed Software LLC, the developer of the seizure tracking software EpiTrax, announced today that it has launched a new online epilepsy forum, called the EpiTrax Forum, to support individuals who are currently, or want to, track seizures and seizure triggers. The forum is free to all users and can be accessed starting today at www.neomedsoft.com/forum.
The EpiTrax Forum offers a safe place where people with epilepsy, and their loved ones, can go to meet other people with epilepsy, share information about seizures and seizure triggers, and gain support for dealing with their chronic disease. Through online conversations, users will learn helpful ways to track their seizure activity and their seizure triggers, as well as gain a better understanding of what to track and why.
The EpiTrax Forum will also provide the growing EpiTrax user community with tips and tricks for entering and interpreting critical information with the software, answers to common user questions as well as the latest product and company news.
"Tracking seizures with tools such as EpiTrax can empower individuals with epilepsy by providing them with a deeper understanding of their epilepsy and its causes. Yet, few online communities deal specifically with this important topic," said Eric Schumacher, CEO, NeoMed Software. "We have designed this online forum to provide information and support to our growing user base and to others who are tracking their seizures. Our hope is to strengthen the epilepsy community through the sharing of information, and to raise awareness for this often-misunderstood disease."
