What Drives Us

NeoMed Software is a young, socially–conscience company. We believe that giving back to society is just as important as developing software applications that can help those with debilitating diseases. That is why 5% of the gross profit on every product sold is given to epilepsy–related charities and research organizations.

Why Epilepsy?

• 50 million people worldwide and 2.7 million people in the United States live with this debilitating disease
• This year alone, an estimated 25,000 to 50,000 will die of seizures and related causes.
• Epilepsy is one of the least funded neurological diseases despite its prevalence and despite the fact that there is no known cure.

People with epilepsy often face significant barriers to independence and the enjoyment of life, including limitations on driving, unfair discrimination in school, social stigma, and an unemployment rate five times the national average. They often face the debilitating side–effects of treatments, depression, learning disabilities and a host of other related psychological and physical risks.

While our software is not a cure, the information it captures can help lead to one.
